I use these aerators whenever I serve wine (either for myself or for guests). The difference in taste can be noticeable.
Great product.
Product works well and is easy to use! Will NEVER use DAB Nutrition again, as they are scoundrels and over charge for the shipping, which makes the product expensive!!
If you wanna impress the ladies...
Here is the deal. I bought this thing for Christmas as a joint present for me and my girl. She loved it. She was completely impressed with how cool and sleek it was and I definitely scored some points. Also, it really opens up your wine. I made it a point to pour some wine from a freshly opened bottle into two separate glasses, with and without the Vinturi. There was a discernible difference. If you are drinking Boons or Sutters Home or whatever, don't bother with this. If you are picking up wines that you want to really enjoy. Give this a try. Worst case scenario, your wine tastes the same to you and you have a cool centerpiece to talk about at parties.
The pieces feel sturdy and well made. They are stylish. Overall good design.
Bought as gift
I bought the Aerators as a gift at Christmas. The person I bought them for said they were alright, but not sure if there was much difference in the wine when used. Item was shipped quickly and well packed.
Changes the taste of wine
I purchased this set as a joint Christmas present for my husband and myself since he likes red wine and I like white wine. We had used the red wine aerator that belonged to my brother in law while we were on vacation and thought it did make the wine taste better. I didn't have any idea how it would help white wines since he didn't have that one. I was very suprised when it made a modest pinot grigio taste better. I tasted first just out of the bottle and then used the aerator to find that a faint metallic taste that I hadn't paid attention to was gone! The wine was more enjoyable after using the aerator. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys wine.
